Privacy notice

This notice explains how H Holding Group, doing business as ClaimPillar Medical Billing ("ClaimPillar"), handles information collected through this website. The inquiry form sends us the business contact and practice details you enter, the page of this site you came to the form from, the first page of this site you viewed and a general category for the site that referred you. We use them to answer your request and keep a record of it. We do not sell them. Please do not send patient information through this website.

At a glance
  • The inquiry form collects business contact and practice details; a phone number is optional, and patient information does not belong there.
  • We do not sell personal information or share it for targeted advertising; patient data requires a signed BAA.
  • Request access, correction or deletion through inquiries@claimpillar.com; the policy explains the information we collect and why.

Who this notice covers

H Holding Group, doing business as ClaimPillar Medical Billing ("ClaimPillar" or "we"), operates this website and is responsible for the information it collects. This notice covers browsing the site, using its free calculators and sending the inquiry form.

It does not cover information we handle for practices as their billing company. We receive patient information only after a business associate agreement is signed, whether for a free review of your unpaid claims or for billing work under a service agreement, and that agreement sets the HIPAA terms for the data. Clinician details we use for credentialing and enrollment are handled under the service agreement; how we work with practices explains the order. The rules for using the site itself are in our terms of use.

What information this website collects

The inquiry form asks only for business contact and practice details and has no free-text box. Do not put patient names, dates of birth, member IDs or other health information in any field. The site does not ask for payment details, passwords or payer portal credentials.

Our hosting provider may also record standard server logs, such as IP address, browser type and the pages requested, for security and troubleshooting.

How we use your information

  1. To reply to your inquiry and discuss the service you asked about, by email or by phone if you gave a number.
  2. To prepare a quote or proposal you request.
  3. To keep a record of the inquiry under a reference number, so we can follow up and recognize a repeated submission.
  4. To see which pages and which kinds of referring sites lead to inquiries, so we can improve the site.
  5. To protect the site against spam and abuse, and to meet our legal obligations.

If we email you about anything other than your request, each message will include a way to opt out. We do not send marketing text messages.

Who receives your information

We share inquiry information only with service providers that run the site for us, and only for that purpose:

  • Email delivery. Our server sends each inquiry through Resend, an email delivery service, to our inquiry inbox.
  • Website hosting. Our hosting provider runs the server that receives the form.
  • Business email. The company that hosts our email inbox stores the messages we receive.

We may also disclose information when the law requires it, to protect our rights or someone's safety, or as part of a merger or sale of our business, in which case this notice continues to apply to it. We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it with anyone for targeted advertising.

Cookies, browser storage and analytics

The site itself sets no cookies. To tell us how a visitor found the site, the inquiry script keeps two values in your browser's session storage for the current tab: the first page of this site you opened and a general category for the site that sent you. It never stores the full address of that site, your search terms or anything you type into the form. Closing the tab clears session storage, and the two values leave your browser only if you send the form. If you reach the form from another page of this site, the form also sends that page's address on this site, so we know which service you were reading about; the address is not kept in your browser.

The site does not use analytics or advertising cookies.

Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control

We do not sell personal information, share it for targeted advertising or track visitors across other websites, so the site has no tracking for these browser signals to switch off and does not change its behavior when it receives them.

How long we keep it

We keep inquiry emails for up to 24 months after our last contact with you and then delete them, unless you become a client, in which case your service agreement sets the retention period, or we need them longer to meet a legal obligation or resolve a dispute. Session storage clears when you close the tab.

Your choices and requests

You can ask us what inquiry information we hold about you, and ask us to correct it or delete it, by emailing inquiries@claimpillar.com. We may first confirm the request comes from you, usually by replying to the address you used, and we respond within 45 days. You can ask us to stop contacting you at any time.

Depending on where you live, state privacy laws may give you further rights. We honor those rights where they apply to us.

How we protect it

The site is served only over HTTPS. The form sends your details to our own server, which passes them to our email delivery service; the credentials for that service stay on the server and never reach your browser. Only the people who handle inquiries can open the inquiry inbox. No way of sending or storing information is completely secure, so we cannot promise absolute security.

Children's information

This website is for healthcare businesses. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has sent us information, email inquiries@claimpillar.com and we will delete it.

Changes to this notice and how to reach us

We post any change to this notice on this page and update the date below. If we want to use information we already hold in a materially different way, we will ask for your consent first. For questions or requests, email inquiries@claimpillar.com or use our contact page.
